The Trishas direct from Austin Texas, and we're excited that... they're headed to the Deep South of Minnesota!
Musicians of UnCommon Merit... The Trishas will provide you with a sensory and musical overload that will touch your heart..and echo off the bays and bayou's of Lake Okabena.

In the hands-on workshop, participants will have a chance to learn hand drumming techniques and rhythms from Northern Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean and West Africa. Marc Anderson and Mark O'Day will discuss, demonstrate and teach how percussion functions in music performance, how to produce good sound on a drum and how to play in an ensemble. Participants will learn parts for at least five different drumming styles. Participants are encouraged to bring drums if they have them. There will be drums and other percussion instruments available for those without their own instrument. This workshop is appropriate for students with no experience to advanced students.

The workshop will be held at noon on Saturday, June 12th, at Sailboard Beach.
