The staging area for the Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival will be two blocks from City Center, at Sailboard Beach. Parking on Lake Street will be reserved for people with roof racks and windsurfing gear. There will be ample parking for the public within two or three blocks of the event.

The south by southwest winds that sweep this mid western prairie city are unrestrained, the lake lies "high" on the landscape, banks are low and obstructions are few. This will allow the area around Sailboard Beach and the pier, to be used to the publics "great viewing" advantage!

Please note that this event is predicated on wind direction, which we presume will be at 180°. If the wind direction is significantly different than what is normal we will be a very mobile group and will play to the wind! Rest assured you will be able to find the crowd! Always bring lawn chairs and plan to enjoy the weekend!
