Roger Jackson and Ellen Faller, past and present winners of the national "Windsurfer of the Year" award, present: Taste Of Windsurfing. Roger and Ellen will be available to instruct anyone that has ever had the urge to try windsurfing. They both have the ability to make your first time out fun and easy! Roger and Ellen always make sure that beginners have equipment that is suited to their needs. This makes learning the basics a lot easier. Ellen is pictured (above) helping a young girl learn the basics well enough on the "Land Trainer" to later get up on the lake and experience the thrill of Windsurfing. Roger is pictured (to the right) helping Radha, a member of Ande Marimba, and (below) a Worthington local windsurf for the first time. These beginners have already learned the basics on a land simulator and are now getting their first "Taste of Windsurfing" on the water with the help of these professionals. Many people have benefited from the tireless efforts of Roger Jackson and Ellen Faller. Our profound appreciation goes out to these two individuals.

Jeff Hegwer has been a local windsurfer for quite some time now. His love of the sport has driven him to want to share it with others. Jeff founded the Therapeutic Winds Windsurfing School, which offers individual and group lessons ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Jeff is a U.S. Sailing Certified Instructor.
